How are "Concessions" calculated?

Concession value

Plot-Z converts all advertised concession into "weeks" value. Concessions that do not affect base rents are excluded. Actual advertised concession text are under "Concession Text" in our market report.

We also take into consideration terms and conditions for concessions to apply. They include the following but are not limited to: minimum lease term, move-in date, concession expiry date.

Example 1

‍Advertised Concession: $1,000 off August Rent
Asking Rent: $2,100
Concession = 1000 / 2100 x 4 weeks = 1.9 weeks
*Assumption of 1 month = 4 weeks

Example 2‍

Advertised Concession: $500 Wholefoods Gift Card, Waived Admin Fee of $99, Free 48" TV worth $800
Asking Rent: $2,100
Concession = 0 weeks
